1. Who we are and how to contact us

Levacion provides medical and health-science learning tools at levacion.com. Levacion is responsible for deciding how account and learning information is used for this service. For privacy questions, access or deletion requests, contact officiallevacion@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

Account information includes your email address, account identifier and authentication records. If you use Google sign-in, Google provides your account identifier, email address and basic profile information, such as your name and profile picture, according to the permissions you approve. Levacion does not receive your Google password. We also collect the profile details you choose to provide, including your university, country, programme, level, learning goals and appearance preferences.

Learning information includes enrolled courses, study availability, semester plans, saved lessons, questions, answers, test attempts, grades, progress and feedback. When you use upload or teaching features, we process the files you submit, their extracted text, questions and generated study materials. Technical information can include IP address, browser and device details, timestamps, error reports and usage records necessary to operate and secure the service. Support messages include information you choose to send us.

3. Why we use information

We use information to create and secure your account, personalise your curriculum and timetable, deliver lessons and assessments, save your progress, send account verification or recovery emails, answer support requests and investigate faults or abuse. We rely on performing our agreement with you for core services; legitimate interests for proportionate security and service maintenance; legal obligations where applicable; and consent where required for optional processing. You can decline optional information or Google sign-in and use available alternatives.

4. Google account information

Google sign-in is used to authenticate you and populate basic account profile details. It does not grant Levacion access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, contacts or calendar. We do not sell Google account information, use it for advertising, or send it to generative models for training. You can revoke Levacion’s Google connection through your Google Account permissions. Revoking that connection does not itself delete your Levacion account or stored learning records; contact us separately to request deletion.

Levacion’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements where applicable.

5. Teaching, uploads and automated assessment

Relevant excerpts of uploaded material, your questions, answers and learning context may be sent to OpenAI to generate teaching content, practice questions, explanations and automated marking. These providers process the submitted content under their applicable service terms and retention rules. Do not upload identifiable patient records, confidential clinical information or personal information about other people. Remove names, identifiers and other sensitive details before submitting educational material.

Generated grades and recommendations are learning feedback. They do not decide university admission, employment, professional registration or official academic results. Contact us if you want to challenge feedback or request review of an automated learning outcome.

6. Service providers and sharing

Supabase provides authentication, databases and file storage; Vercel hosts and delivers the application; Resend delivers account emails; Google provides optional sign-in; and OpenAI processes content for teaching and assessment features. Each receives the information needed for its function—for example, an email provider receives your email address and message content. External videos and other linked services may process information under their own privacy policies when you access them.

We do not sell or rent personal information. Access may also be given to authorised support personnel when needed to address your request or maintain security, or disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety. Private uploads are intended for your account; uploading a file does not authorise us to publish it to the shared library.

7. Browser storage and external content

Levacion uses browser storage and, where applicable, cookies to retain sign-in sessions, preferences and learning state. Clearing or blocking this storage may sign you out or affect saved local work. External content such as YouTube embeds can use its own storage and collect technical information when loaded. This policy does not give consent to advertising or unrelated tracking.

8. Storage, retention and security

Personal information may be processed outside Nigeria by our service providers. Applicable transfer safeguards and provider arrangements must be considered when transferring information internationally. We use access controls and secure connections to protect information, but no service can guarantee complete security.

Account and learning information is retained while needed to deliver your account and requested features. When you request deletion, we review the request and remove or anonymise information no longer needed, subject to legal obligations, fraud prevention and dispute handling. Residual copies may remain temporarily in backups and provider logs until their normal retention cycles expire. We do not promise immediate deletion from every backup or third-party system.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on it without affecting prior lawful processing. Write to officiallevacion@gmail.com from your registered email and describe your request. We may ask for proportionate verification of ownership; do not send passwords or identity documents unless a secure and necessary verification process has been agreed.

We respond within applicable statutory periods and explain any lawful limitation. You may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission at ndpc.gov.ng or another competent supervisory authority. You do not have to contact us first to exercise a statutory complaint right.

10. Younger students and updates

Levacion is designed for university and professional education. If you are under the age at which you can independently consent or enter an agreement under applicable law, a parent or guardian must authorise your use where required. Contact us if a child’s information has been submitted without required authorisation.

We will update this page when our practices change and identify the latest effective date. Material changes will be communicated through the service or account contact channels as appropriate. Where a new purpose requires consent, we will obtain it before that use.
